Such a lovely place, amazing food and very friendly staff. Saved us on a busy day in Portree.Very highly recommended!!!
Most delicious food in Scotland
This place had the dinner type food that I have been looking for in Scotland. I had the Smashburger and it was genuinely the best burger I’ve had while traveling. I often find that other places dont do much with their seasoning, cooking, toppings, and type of bun. However this place does. The fries were ridiculously good. While in Scotland, I have had to dunk my fries in ketchup because a lot of places dont season them with enough salt or they dont fry them correctly. The only downside of this place was that it was small and so seating filled up quickly. Thankfully I only waited about two minutes. I’m glad I did too because it was amazing food.
I’m from the states visiting Scotland with my mother, who has been vegetarian for over 30 years. Out of respect for her I got the mushroom po’ boy, one of the vegetarian options. I’m not usually a fan of fake meat but this was a pleasant surprise. It was without a doubt the best vegetarian meal I’ve ever had. The mushrooms were incredible, and not too far off from real meat, maybe even better, and the crinkle cut fries were amazing. I left few crumbs.
Extremely packed. However, was able to find a table pretty quick since I was a party of 1. I ordered soup of the day, coke, and BLT sandwich. Staff were friendly, bathrooms were cleaned and food was good. Very loud when packed.
Great experience at this restaurant! Their vibe is really cozy and the servers are lovely. We got the spicy egg wrap and Linguini. The egg wrap was just right amount of spicy and had great flavour with sautéed veggies. The linguini was my favourite! So creamy and yummy. Will definitely be back here whenever I visit Skye again.
We came as a group of 6 people during lunch rush. Contrary to some reviews, we found everything alright and the service was actually quite satisfactory. The cafe was busy with a constant queue of 1-2 groups waiting to dine in, the service was still good and the staff were friendly. They offered wide range of meal options, well portioned and well prepared so the price was reasonable. We enjoyed every plate we ordered.
Oh wt a sweet place with very sweet staff. Their soup of the day was carrot lentil. It was just amazing n bagel hummus tomato was also good. Oats of the world berry flavoured smoothie was actually out of the world. Must check out place if in Portree
